Rose RussellRose Russell

Rose graduated with a degree in Communication Arts from Epsom School of Art in the UK. She worked for a London based print company, designing corporate literature for clients including British Telecom, The London Science Museum, BP and National Petroleum.
She emigrated to Australia in 1985 and worked freelance producing packaging, point-of-sale and corporate literature for Woolworths, Lindemans, Uncle Tobys, Unisys and KPMG.
Rose established her own design consultancy in 1988. She has a wealth of knowledge working for large multi-nationals through to small business start-ups across a number of industries. Clients include: ACNielsen, Caltex, Wattyl, Pioneer Plasterboard, RTA, Crown Glassware, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, CSL and The Next Step Recruitment.
Awards: Australian Marketing Institute Award for Best Industrial Packaging and Best Industrial Marketing and the Packaging Council of Australia Award for Innovative 3D Plastic Packaging Design.
 

Iain GibsonIain Gibson

Iain graduated with a degree in Communication Arts from Epsom School of Art & Design in the UK where he met and studied with Rose Russell.
He has extensive international corporate and product brand design expertise working in a number of leading brand and design consultancies in the UK, Europe, Singapore and Australia.
With more than 25 years’ experience Iain has worked for many high profile clients spanning a diverse range of business sectors and geographic regions. Clients include: Asia Pacific Breweries, Bankers Trust, British Airways, Caltex, Chevron, Colonial, Compaq Computers, Chrysler Jeep, DBS Bank, Flemings Investment Bank, Honda, Landrover, MBF, OCBC Bank, Qantas, Rolls Royce, Royal Insurance, Russell Athletic, Safeways, Scandia, Standard Chartered Bank, Singapore Airlines, The Nielsen Company, TNT, The University of Sydney, Wattyl, Westfield and Yamaha.
Awards: National Graphics Awards (UK) Gold - Corporate Identity, Silver - Corporate Literature and Silver - Annual Reports. The New York Festival of Arts (USA) Silver - Art Direction and Silver - Technical Literature. The Packaging Council of Australia for Innovative 3D Plastic Packaging Design.
He is a member of the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA).
 

Stephen CostelloStephen Costello

Stephen graduated with honours from the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) Canada. In Toronto, he specialised in editorial design, art directing several national magazines - Quest, Homemakers, Madame au Foyer (French language) and CityWoman. He also worked briefly with Toronto Life magazine before emigrating in 1982 to become Creative Director of one of Australia’s premiere men’s magazine titles.
Stephen then developed the designs for the launch of Inside Sport magazine, and was asked to redesign Simply Living, Golf Australia, and Network Magazine.
In 1986 he established Watch This! Design. Clients included Caltex, Pioneer, Maquarie Bank, Philips, Adobe, 3Com, BHP Engineering, ING (Mercantile Mutual), Garuda Airlines, Transfield, Dairy Farmers, International Olive Oil Council, SBS and World Movies. Government departments included NSW Corrective Services, Export Finance insurance Corporation (EFIC), Sydney University, Maquarie University and the Australian Museum.
Stephen then launched a new design company, Forty Four Degrees North and in 2004 was invited to become a partner with Rose Russell and Iain Gibson, creating Russell Gibson Costello - RGC.
